Skin Care: Everyday Products

Hello dolls... As some of you know, I travel a lot so I have to keep my skin hydrated. I hardly do posts on skin care because what works for me might not work for you but I had to share some of the amazing products I've found so far.

Shea butter has to be on every beauty addicts dressing table. It works wonders on my skin and wait for it.... my hair. Yup, I use it on my hair too!!! I've been natural for a while now, my biggest challenge is keeping my hair from drying out. I use this with other oils (shared my hair care products a while back).

FAU: Sunday's Best

Hi dolls... Happy Sunday. Just wanted to share my OOTD with you all. Hope you had a blessed Sunday.

I wore this dress a while back when I was in LA. I styled it completely different with a leather jacket to give it an edge.

Will put up pics on Instagram so you can decide on the day I wore it better :)

Magic School Bus

Hi dolls... You can't see my neckpiece in the first pic but you will after the break. I loved watching 'the magic schoolbus' as a kid and this neckpiece reminded me of the cartoon so I had to get it.

Stripes on stripes

Hi dolls... Kenya got a hair cut a while ago so she has been picture shy but she's back to her photobombing ways now that her hair is making a comeback.

I got this blazer on sale a while back... not really a stripe fan but I love a good bargain. I wanted to clash prints so I wore my polka dot body (didn't plan the whole black and white look).

OOTD: Denim X 2

Hi dolls... Just a quick post to share my OOTD. It took forever to take a few pictures because my son kept walking into each shot. I've had him to myself since the weekend and I can't get enough of that smile.

FAU: Sunday's Best

Happy Sunday dolls... Quick post to share my OOTD.

I wore this VLR dress I got a while ago. I can't seem to let go of the dress so I keep recycling and finding new ways to wear it.

I decided to pair the dress with a hat, purse and spangles (less is more sometimes :)).

Nigerian green

Hello everyone... I wore this dress for my son's first birthday party last Saturday.

I remember the day I saw this dress, it reminded me of the dress Lupita Nyong'o wore for the Oscars earlier this year. Her dress was by Prada and she said the shade of blue reminded her of Nairobi blue.

I opted out of the plunging neckline and side boobs seeing as it was a child's party and I'm not as daring as I thought lol.

Comme Les Etoiles

Hi dolls... Had a long day today (wedding shopping for a client) but I didn't let the rain stop me. Decided to pair this lace top I got recently with this skort (skirt + short) I got last year. At the end of the day, it actually looked good (who knew lace on lace would work out).

Lady...like

Hi dolls... Another late post :)

I've had this jumper for almost seven years now (yes SEVEN) and I have never worn it. Was cleaning out my closet, found it and decided to pair it with this dress I got recently.

I'm a sucker for daisies so I fell in love with the print of the dress before the fabric or style. I love the soft pastel inner lining paired with the organza daisy fabric.

Tough as nails

Hi dolls... I'm still recovering from the weekend. I can officially conclude that I am an agbaya lol. My son's mexican fiasco 'first' birthday party was amazing thank God. Will upload pics from the party soon. I wasn't allowed on the bouncy castle but I have my ways.

Wore this outfit a few nights ago but never got round to posting the pics. This just shows how versatile my style is.

Baby got back....pack

Hi dolls... Quick post to share my look from yesterday.

I looked like a naughty school girl in this outfit but I loved everything about it. It's officially backpack season, celebrities like Khloe Kardashian can't seem to get enough of this trend.

Luckiest girl in the world

Hi dolls... I was super excited when I won two pieces from two of my fave Nigerian designers on instagram a few weeks ago. Today, I finally collected the first piece and it is the most gorgy dress ever (I can't wait to wear it).

If you follow me on Instagram, my last post is a collage of my day with the amazing designer Lanre Da Silva Ajayi. The picture is just a tiny window to one of the most exciting days I've had this year but doesn't really share my experience or excitement.

I didn't really know what to expect when I woke up today but I was excited for my meeting with the LDA team so I dressed up, went to work and had to sneak out for my meeting. I'm terrible with directions but I have patient siblings and after a million phone calls, I finally found the flagship store.

Maju Addict

Hi dolls.... Wore this outfit to church on Sunday. It almost looks like the shoes came with the shirt dress. I remember when I got an email informing me of a shopping event in Lagos while I was in London. As if that wasn't bad enough, I saw that Maju (one of my fave Naij brands) would be a vendor.

I contacted Maju immediately and she was nice enough to send me pictures from her new collection. This was the first outfit I picked, the print and colour had me at first sight. I ordered a few outfits and they arrived before I got back from my trip!!!

Hearts and Horses

Hi dolls... It's funny how a statement piece can define a look. Decided to pair my skater skirt with this luxe sporty top but the cherry on top had to be my bag.

I fell in love with this bag in LA and couldn't wait to take it on a day or night out. The irony is that I'm not really a fan of milk because I'm lactose intolerant but ah well, we can't help what we love lol.

Frills and Prints

Hi dolls... I'm backkkkkkk :)) Sorry for the lack of posts but I've been super busy (will put up pics from my LA trip soon). It's always so good to be back home and with everything that happened while I was away, I'm just thankful.

My son turns one in a few days and words can't express the joy he has brought this past year. I'm happy to report that he officially took his first steps yesterday (someone wants cake lol) and hasn't stopped practicing.

If you follow me on instagram you would see the piñata I carried by hand all the way from LA. I didn't want to check it in so it would not get damaged. I can't wait for the party, bouncy castle et al.. yes I'm an agbaya.
