Hi dolls... I spent thanksgiving in Los Angeles again. I'm starting to think LA is my new home especially during thanksgiving (this is my third thanksgiving here in a row).

The weather has been amazing even though its sunny, there is a slight chill but that's normal during winter. I spent thanksgiving weekend with my family (from my dad's side of the family) and I am obsessed with them. 

It's weird that I know all my uncles, aunties, cousins etc from my mum's side but not one person from my dad's (well now I do) :))

Late post: October 12

Hi dolls... Most of you already know my birthday but for those who don't, it's the 12th of October and I also have a half birthday on the 12th of April.

I'm really big on birthdays, growing up I had four every year. It's awesome being the last child. If my brothers or my sister had a birthday, I had one too (hence 4 birthdays). I would not wear my uniform that day, I would be in a proper birthday outfit, cake and party packs for my friends.

Black and white

Hey dolls... I've always been a big fan of black and white. There's something so cool and chic about the look. 

Last week, I played with a lot of old pieces in my closet but styled them completely different but stuck to my black and white theme.

Cyprus - Halloumi with cats!!!

Hi dolls... Finally sharing some pictures from my Cyprus trip and tips on how to get the visa plus places to visit when you are there.

I only had four days, well one day because of the wedding but I decided to make the most out of eat by eating local food, visiting a few places and hanging out with my friends.

If you have a Nigerian passport, to get a visa to Cyprus can be one of the longest process ever but trust me it is well worth it. A UK or EU passport holder has no issue whatsoever. 

First thing you need to know is that there is no Cypriot embassy in Nigeria, there is a Consulate of Cyprus in Apapa for those in Lagos. Click here for the address.

Tough as nails

Hi dolls... I'm still recovering from the weekend. I can officially conclude that I am an agbaya lol. My son's mexican fiasco 'first' birthday party was amazing thank God. Will upload pics from the party soon. I wasn't allowed on the bouncy castle but I have my ways.

Wore this outfit a few nights ago but never got round to posting the pics. This just shows how versatile my style is. 

Angels wear Prada too

Hi dolls... I know I look angry in most of these pics but I promise it's just the light from the sun and I couldn't be bothered to go back in to get shades hence the funny expressions.

I've had this top for ages but couldn't wear it due to bra issues. I hate when I wear a transparent top that is also backless and my ba will show at the back (even if it's a really cute bra), I feel it looks tacky.

 I finally found the most amazing bra, not the backless and strapless, but something even better. I will share it soon (not on me lol) and also where it can be purchased.

Hi dolls... This is actually a late post. Wore this outfit on Friday but haven't had time to upload and edit. I had an amazing weekend even though I didn't do much. I spent it with amazing friends trying out new places to eat and get good drinks in Lagos. 

Merry 'Un' Birthday to me

Hi dolls... It rained all day yesterday but for some reason I was in a very good mood. The whole white phase ended the minute I got a hug from my friend and her face print on my top lol, see why it's hard to wear white in Lagos? Don't even get me started on stains I got from carrying stuff (dust everywhere).

Back to my post, If I had a tiara, I would have worn it instead (that was the type of mood I was in) but I settled for my mouse ears and a sparkly jacket. A few people even thought it was my birthday!!! I've always had the urge to try culottes but never got on the band wagon but as they say, there's always a first time.

Hi dolls... I wore this outfit a few days ago and I'm finally blogging about it. I'm a big fan of wide leg pants so I was super excited when I found the ones I'm wearing in this post. I couldn't wait to wear them but I did not want to style them the normal way (i.e tucked in with a vest or shirt) so I opted for this...

Officially casual

Hi dolls... Had a traffic filled day so I'm happy to be back home cuddling Kenya. Nothing says casual like a good pair of denim, now picture a waistcoat denim jumpsuit paired with a smart shirt...!!! This has to be one of my fave white shirts (gift from my sister) so I look for every opportunity to wear it.

I am in love with this waistcoat jumpsuit. It can be worn as denim pants alone if you detach the waistcoat, pretty cool right? 

All that jazz!!!

Hi dolls... It rained all morning but was able to take a few pictures before heading to work. Pictures don't do this dress justice trust me, it looks amazing and the print is fantastic!!!

Shift dresses are big this summer... different fabrics, prints and styles. I'm a big fan of prints so I try not to go too crazy when I see a print I absolutely love like this one (my love for music doesn't help).

Last Sunday

Hi dolls... I'm finally back home in Lagos after being away for so long. Blues

Hi dolls... The weather has been a bit grey lately so I decided to add a bit of blue to my day. I have been super busy so I haven't had time for the blog in a while but I will put up more posts soon. 

Decided to try out my MAC Heroine and I'm still not sure about it. It looks fab in selfies but from afar I feel like an alien.

Hi dolls... Yesterday was my big brother's birthday. In primary school, we used to wear our 'birthday' outfit instead of our uniforms on the day. I literally had four birthdays every year because my mum had to buy my own cake and birthday dress when any of my senior ones had a birthday. 

I'm older now but I still want to play dress up on everyones birthday and I still want my own cake lol. If I had my way, I would have them sing happy birthday to me too.

Walking on sunshine

Hi dolls... Today was such a busy day for me... I had a lot of events and so little time so I decided not to plan my day and just see how it goes.

Weddings have become 'the' event lately. It seems like everyone is getting married and the questions aunties and uncles ask now is 'when are we coming for yours?'.  The simple answer to that is God's time!!!
