Little Black Suit

Hi dolls... I'm a big fan of black because I believe you can't go wrong with it and in it. You can easily have a cheat day in anything black and it's the perfect color to wear when you have something to hide.

I love having little black dresses because when in doubt, I wear black. It is my go to color but it also saves me time when I think I have nothing to wear even though I have a million and one items still with their tags on.

This is actually a playsuit but it looks like a dress. I love the little apron-like flap in front covering the shorts.

Miss Dotty

Hi dolls... Polka dots can be a bit boring or should I say repetitive but I like the trend because there is a lot you can do with it. When you have pieces like shorts or a skirt, you can print clash with stripes or add a pop of color or use metallics or pick the color of the dot for the top.

A dress on the other hand can be tricky. I could have styled this dress with a belt or a statement neckpiece for a wedding. If I was wearing it to work, I would have settled for navy or black pumps to keep it conservative. 

I decided to add a pop of color to brighten the look seeing as I was going to church so I settled for bright heels, lips and a headpiece.

I miss my blue braids but I'm in love with grey hair at the moment. Will do a post soon on protective styles for natural hair.

Hi dolls... Yesterday was my big brother's birthday. In primary school, we used to wear our 'birthday' outfit instead of our uniforms on the day. I literally had four birthdays every year because my mum had to buy my own cake and birthday dress when any of my senior ones had a birthday. 

I'm older now but I still want to play dress up on everyones birthday and I still want my own cake lol. If I had my way, I would have them sing happy birthday to me too.

My leather affair

I have this love for leather... there's something about it that makes me feel sexy badass... I can't explain it but it's definitely a synonym for hot lol. I decided to wear a dark lippie (you know what they say, go big or go home)!!!

Hi dolls... I've missed blogging so much but seeing as I'm useless without my camera and I've been so busy, I'm sure I can be excused this time :)

I'm finally back home in Nigeria with my family and my camera lol so I have to share some pictures I've been owing you guys and these date back to my birthday (October 12).

It finally feels a lot like Christmas in my house, well today it did. Our trees are up, visitors poped in and out and the best part is the food but back to my post...
