Shoe Crush on: Nicholas Kirkwood

Last year, we did a project on the global fashion industry and we had to compare two luxury brands. My group chose shoe brands and we decided Salvatore Ferragamo and Nicholas Kirkwood would be interesting to compare. While working on the project, I fell in love with Nicholas Kirkwood designs.

Kirkwood is famous for the architectural quality of his designs and his innovative use of materials including devoré satin, hand-printed suede and leather, degradé fabrics, python, shaved stingray, laser-cut mirror leather, cobra and rubberised leather.
